Understanding Your Costs
Baton AI service relies on OpenAI models to perform its tasks. You can choose which model to use for each functionality, see the repo page for configuration details.
The price of each functionality is composed by two factors:
- Input and output token price for text services or image generation price for images generation
- Single API call price
The number of tokens are calculated exactly as OpenAI does. Please consider that the number of input tokens depends also on the prompts that Baton AI send to instruct the AI about the operation to perform. The single API call covers our server, database and management extra costs. In your personal area you can see all the requests made, along with the model and token used, the request cost and the total cost.
This service is in active development, so new features will be added, improvements will happen and possibly also prices may vary in the future.
